this week's meal plan

Well, I am a bit late in posting this one as I need to make a new meal plan in a couple days, but I figured I would post it anyways.

Thursday: Sushi with carrots, avocado, cucumber, pickled ginger and toasted sesame seeds. A summer favorite, but we had all the ingredients, so I figured it would be easier than heading to the store. We use this recipe for the rice (I usually halve it and use less salt).
Friday: Roast chicken with potatoes and carrots and challah. We eat this almost every Friday for Shabbat. And an almond cherry tart for dessert.
Saturday: We were out hiking all day, so I threw together some nachos for dinner. Quick and everyone loves them as a special treat.
Sunday: Matzo Ball Soup
Monday: Pasta with this sauce and ricotta with roasted broccoli.
Tuesday: Mujadara with sausages, yogurt, and kale with roasted beets.
