A portrait of my little ones, once a week, every week in 2014, see more here.

Playing and enjoying popsicles in the backyard after a picnic dinner at the park.

S: you ask me to sing "you are my sunshine" over and over. uzi asked you what your favorite color was and you said rainbow!

U: today you decided not to accompany me on errands because you were too busy making little figures out of colored beeswax. you made tiny pictures of you in the forest, at home, holding a flower, and at the beach. when I came home you told me you missed me. you are one sweet kid.

  1. Can you tell me more about the beeswax--I've been thinking of getting some for my almost 4-year-old!

    1. Yes, we just get it locally by the bar but it looks like it is available at amazon too. It is made by Stockmar, here's a link: It is actually kind of hard to work with and is a bit frustrating for some kids because it is not as easy to model as clay (much harder and more stiff). But we warm it up in the oven for a little bit first to make it more pliable and my boy loves to use it.
